According to TMZ reports, American Rapper Kanye West’s signature was forged in a $900k USD NYFW performance scam.
Recall that, He was as of late supposed to perform during New York Fashion Week. Nonetheless, after the Kardashian-West group got hold of the news, Kim Kardashian herself rapidly closed down the talk and expressed on her Twitter that it was only that:
“He’s (Kanye) not performing at any fashion show this season. Just a rumour.”
According to TMZ, the American rapper was never contracted for the performance at all rather, as per their sources, a G.O.O.D. Music partner (and previous companion of Kanye’s) distorted himself to Plein as Kanye’s rep.
He supposedly arranged an about million dollar contract for Kanye’s performance, including a $900,000 advance, which, as indicated by TMZ, Plein wired to a record related with the con artist.
He additionally supposedly forged Kanye’s signature so as to influence this weighty exchange to occur.
TMZ also obtained an image of the agreement with Kanye’s forged signature on it and with that of Plein.
They said the cash has evidently been gotten out of the record it was sent to by Plein so as to affirm Kanye as the demonstration at his show.
Nigerian comedian and actor, Bright Okpocha aka Basketmouth have revealed that stand-up comedy show is dying in Nigeria.
According to him, many comedians are taking the path of least resistance by doing dramas as opposed to really doing standup comedy.
Basketmouth made this comment on Thursday while participating in a panel discussion at the Viacom International Media Networks Africa (VIMN Africa) forum held at the ongoing Social Media Week (SMW) Lagos.
He also prompted up and coming acts to make a huge fan base for themselves before they search out brands for displaying opportunities.
While speaking, He said;
“There’s nothing like a good joke,”
“A joke can always be improved and even I often share some of my jokes with fellow comedians and they tell me it is okay, but they later tell me how to make it better.
“Doing skits on social media is very different from performing on stage. There is no filter on stage.”
“While it is good for us to evolve, we have to remember to make content that has substance. We need to understand our target audience and what they need.
“Create content that is buyable. All you need is good content and it will sell by itself.”

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU ) has suspended their strike. The strike was called off after a two-hour meeting was held in Abuja between them and the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige on Thursday the 7th of February 2019.
The agreement between Asuu and the federal government is coming after following a conciliatory meeting in Abuja.
Chris Ngige, represented the Federal Government, while the lecturers were represented by the union’s president, Biodun Ogunyemi.
According to Ngige, both parties unanimously resolved the eight contentious issues that had prolonged the strike.
Ogunyemi speaking with news said;
“On Sunday, November 4, 2018, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) resumed its strike action, which was conditionally suspended on 14th September, 2017.
“The action of 2017 was suspended following the signing of a memorandum of action (MoA) in which the federal government of Nigeria (FGN) promised to address the contentious issues within a timeline that was to end in October 2017.
“While announcing the suspension of the nationwide action, however, our union made it categorically clear that ASUU will not hesitate to review its position should government renege on the signed Memorandum of Action.
“Predictably, Government implemented the MoA in the breach, thereby forcing ASUU to resume the suspended strike action. Comrades and compatriots, as we have always argued, the last thing ASUU members love doing is to cause disruption in smooth intellectual engagements with colleagues, friends and students right on our university
campuses. This has nothing to do with the dubious advertorial of non-disruption of academic calendar by proprietors and administrators of some cash-and-carry universities and other self-styled enemies of ASUU.
“Rather, it is about deep-seated pains members of the Union undergo to prevent strike actions and the equally painful consequences strike situations bring to all who are genuinely averse to the mercantile disposition to university education.
“The NEC has decided that the STRIKE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED.
